All galas will be organised and delivered in accordance with the Moors Swim Squad Rules and Regulations, including those of the Moors League of Swimming Clubs, and in line with the current Swim England Technical Rules of Swimming. Colorado electronic timing will be used at all galas. Live results services will also be provided where the venue, equipment and available connectivity allow. Competition licences will be applied for where there are sufficient qualified technical officials available to meet the relevant Swim England licensing requirements. Where licensing requirements cannot be met, the event will operate as an unlicensed competition. All swimmers, coaches, team managers, officials, volunteers and spectators must follow the safety rules, emergency procedures and venue-specific instructions in place at each competition. Any instructions issued by venue staff or gala officials must be followed promptly. Spectator admission for the 2027 season will be charged at £5.00 per person, unless otherwise stated in the specific gala information. Details regarding advance ticketing or payment arrangements will be communicated ahead of each event. All events will be run on an age-on-the-day basis. A swimmer’s age category will therefore be determined by their age on the date of the relevant competition. The membership declaration date for the 2027 season is 1 January 2027. Club membership and swimmer eligibility will be determined in accordance with the Moors Swim Squad Rules and Regulations in force on that date. Clubs are responsible for ensuring that all swimmers entered are eligible to compete and that entries are accurate, complete and submitted by the published deadline.
